This style of yoga is a powerful practice of postures, connected to the breath, which
reduces stress, improves sleep, corrects imbalance and misalignment in
the body, and builds both strength and flexibility. The benefits of this
practice calm the mind, center the body, and strengthen the vital
energy to improve overall health and well being.Astanga is engaging to both the body and the mind. It tones the body while building a long, lean musculature, helping to balance the body composition and increase stamina. It is perfect for people of all ages, works well as a general health practice, therapeutically to aid recovery, for injury prevention, and as part of a cross-training routine.
